The transfer paperwork is completed by the Boat Dealer on behalf of the owner. Boat Dealers are experienced in providing the necessary transfer documents and have trust accounts in place.
The vessel is sold on an "as is, where is" basis. It is your responsibility to verify any information provided by the Boat Dealer and carry out your own inspection if in any doubt.
Bidding increments vary depending on the current bid amount. Our online auction system will automatically suggest the next bid increment for you.
Private sellers need to engage a Boat Dealer to advertise their boat. Contact Boat Auctions Online and we will put you in contact with a local Boat Dealer.
Yes. Boat Auctions Online only accepts listings from Boat Dealers. Boat Dealers are in a unique position to organise a pre-sale condition report, show the boat (including sea trials) and handle the transfer of ownership. The aim is to provide a standardised, transparent and efficient transaction for buyers and sellers.
There is no Buyers or Sellers Commission payable to Boat Auctions Online. Boat Auctions Online charges a fixed auction fee of $660 inc GST per listing payable by the Boat Dealer.
